About Afûk-publishing
The Afûk publishes books, fiction and non-fiction, about modern life in Friesland with a broad view of its history.
People will always feel the need to tell each other stories and to listen to each other’s stories. Publishing books, magazines and digital products – for children as well as adults – implies for Afûk also reflecting on Frisian society and its history, reporting the results of scholarly and scientific research and offering (literary) writers a chance to use their imagination.
